Alameda County Nutrition and Physical Activity Policy and Guidelines

In October 2009 the Board of Supervisors passed a new policy that will positively impact the health of those working and visiting County-owned or County-leased buildings. The new policy encourages wellness, better nutrition, physical activity, improved access to healthy snacks, and sustainability. Helpful materials are available to assist departments in the implementation of the policy.
